jamjar win Gold at CIPR Cymru Wales PRide Awards

jamjar picked up five awards at the 2023 CIPR Cymru Wales PRide Awards.

Our agency was recognised for its outstanding achievements, performance and excellent work by the annual awards scheme that recognises excellence in public relations and communications.

The award ceremony was held at The Exchange Hotel in Cardiff Bay on Thursday November 23rd.

jamjar’s campaign for Vale of Glamorgan Council – Vale Town Centres – encouraging residents to support their local high street – won the Gold award in the Consumer Relations Campaign for its Cowbridge Festival of Flowers event. It also picked up two Silver awards for this same campaign in the Low Budget Campaign and Regional Campaign of the Year categories.

Its Christmas Post Office for Vale Town Centres won a Gold award in the Best Event category and it was also awarded a Silver award in the Small Consultancy of the Year category.

Judges said of the Festival of Flowers campaign: “The judges thought that this was an imaginative campaign delivered on a very small budget that had impressive results against its objectives and made a positive impact on the local community. It used audience insight to develop something that was more than just a one-off activity but developed through a number months culminating in a successful event.”

Since it was established in 2012, jamjar has built up an impressive reputation for delivering creative, multi-platform campaigns on behalf of clients in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Over the last eleven years, the agency has won over 20 awards for its work.

Managing director, Lyndsey Jenkins, said: “We’re thrilled that our work has once again been recognised in the annual PR awards for Wales. As a Cowbridge-based agency, we’re incredibly proud of the work that we do for Vale of Glamorgan Council encouraging residents to shop local so it is great to get this recognition from our industry peers.”
