jamjar shortlisted for seven PR awards

PR Awards Wales

Creative communications agency jamjar has been shortlisted for seven awards including ‘Small PR Consultancy of the Year’ at the 2022 CIPR Cymru Wales PRide Awards.

The Cowbridge-based agency has been recognised for its outstanding achievements, performance and excellent work by the annual awards scheme that recognises excellence in public relations and communications.

jamjar’s campaign for Vale of Glamorgan Council – Shop Local This Christmas – encouraging local residents to support their high street during the festive period has been shortlisted in three categories – Best Regional Campaign, Best Use of Content and Best Low Budget Campaign.

Its work on Mermaid Quay’s ‘Dragon Wakes’ campaign has been recognised in the Consumer Relations and Travel, Leisure & Tourism category.

The agency is also shortlisted in the Small PR Consultancy of the Year category following a record year of growth.

Since it was established in 2012, jamjar has built up an impressive reputation for delivering creative, multi-platform campaigns on behalf of clients in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Over the last ten years, the agency has won over 20 awards for its work.

Managing director, Lyndsey Jenkins, said:

We’re thrilled that our work has once again been recognised in the annual PR awards for Wales. As a Cowbridge-based business, the work we’ve been doing for Vale of Glamorgan Council, encouraging residents to shop locally following the devastating impact COVID19 restrictions had on high streets in the area, is something we’re incredibly proud of.

As we embark on our 10th anniversary, being shortlisted for these awards gives us another reason to celebrate and we’re looking forward to the awards ceremony later this year.
