Agency marks 10th anniversary with senior appointment

A Cowbridge-based creative communications agency is marking the start of its 10th anniversary celebrations with a senior hire following a record-breaking year.

jamjar has appointed Natalie Wilson as Associate Director to strengthen the team as it looks to build on its success and recent growth.

Natalie joins the award-winning agency following a record year, which saw growth of over 50%, and a flurry of new contract wins, including NHS Wales’s Train, Work, Live campaign.

Having worked at Golley Slater, Orchard and Stills, Natalie brings over two decades of agency experience and specialist creative, marketing and campaign management skills to the team.

Her appointment marks the start of the agency’s 10-year anniversary celebrations, which include a brand and website refresh, the launch of a new internal strategy and various CSR initiatives.

Since it was established by Lyndsey Jenkins in 2012, jamjar has built an impressive reputation for delivering bilingual creative, multi-platform campaigns and brands on behalf of clients in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

Over the last ten years, the agency has won over 20 awards for its work and was more recently shortlisted in the Vale of Glamorgan Business Awards and crowned Outstanding Small Agency of the Year in 2021 by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

On her appointment, Natalie, said:

I am delighted to be joining jamjar at such an exciting time. To have not only survived, but thrived, in the last few challenging years is testament to Lyndsey and the team’s passion, hard work and relentless desire to make a difference. They truly place their clients at the heart of everything they do, nurturing their clients’ brands as if they were their own. I’m looking forward to helping shape jamjar’s next 10 years and working with our talented team and valued clients to continue producing beautifully effective brand identities and integrated campaigns.

On reaching the 10-year anniversary, founder of jamjar, Lyndsey Jenkins said:

I’m extremely proud of the journey jamjar has been on over the last decade. The success we have achieved is a collective effort and I’d like to thank everyone who has played a role in making jamjar the agency that it is.

We’ve worked really hard to grow our brand reputation, diversify and evolve our offering to reflect the ever-changing communications landscape, and deliver impactful work for our clients. More recently, we’ve focussed on strengthening and building resilience within the business, growing our creative portfolio and securing public sector work. These efforts have paid off with the growth we have achieved despite COVID19 and the awards we have won.

Natalie’s appointment comes at an exciting time as we celebrate our anniversary and build on our successes. During the last decade, we have laid solid foundations for future growth and I’m thrilled to have her on board as we move forward into the next 10 years.
